 Department Objectives

• In conformity with the vision and mission of the College, the department aims at academic excellence, personality development, leadership skills, systematic, disciplined work and empowerment of underprivileged girls.
• To provide a strong foundation in the basic concepts of animal structure, function, behaviour and in expanding fields like Molecular Biology, Genetics, Environmental Biology, Microbiology, Immunology and Biotechnology.
• To impart practical and analytical skills in Life Sciences for multidimensional, professional and entrepreneurial development.
• To instil a scientific temper among students for research, higher studies and to have concern for fauna, flora and its conservation.
