The key objectives of the Department of Mathematics are formulated to foster logical reasoning, research aptitude, and holistic personal development:

• To develop abstract, logical, and critical thinking to appreciate the international dimension of Mathematics along with its multicultural and historical perspectives.
• To inculcate mathematical research aptitude through internships, summer training, participation in conferences, student exchange programmes, and creative projects.
