History
Established in the academic year 2018–2019, the Department of Library and Information Science has been at the forefront of academic excellence, pioneering an integrated M.Lib.I.Sc. programme to meet the evolving needs of information professionals in the modern era.
To foster unconventional education and cultivate a delightful journey of uncovering students' inherent capabilities, the Department of Library Science embarked on a new venture with its inclusion into the "School of Mathematical and Computation Sciences" in the academic year 2023–2024.
