YUVA Club
YUVA Club of Holy Cross College was inaugurated under the banner of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Young Indians (YI) of Tiruchirappalli, on 28th June 2018. Young Indians (YI) is an integral part of CII, whereas YUVA is the student wing of YI.
Vision
Young Indians (YI) is a movement for the younger generation of India to converge, lead, co-create and influence STUDENT COMMUNITY, as an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) playing a proactive role in India's development process.
Objectives
To instill entrepreneurial skills
To inculcate leadership qualities
To educate on problem solving techniques
To develop social awareness among students
Activities
A webinar on Indian Economy: The Road Ahead was held on 30th August 2018 at 12.00 a.m. Dr.Ajit Ranade, Chief Economist &Group Executive, President ,Aditya Birla Group gave a talk about GDP growth, US $ and more.
Our students were participated in A session on LIFE, CAREER AND DREAMS was held at Bishop Heber College on 14th September 2018. The session handled by Mr. Sivakumar Palaniappan, Professional Speaker, Corporate trainer and Coach, Founder and CEO at Thinkfluence Global.
A workshop on entrepeurial skills was held on 18th September 2018 ,Mr.Sundaresan, Assistant Professor, Audiology and YI member was the resource person of the workshop.
One day workshop on “GOAL SETTING” was held on 14th December 2018.Mrs.Kauveri Annamalai, MD,ARA Finance and YI member was the resource person of the workshop.
On 09 August 2019 Yi Trichy chapter organised "Gift an Organ Awareness Bus rally across”. The team started the awareness campaign at Holy Cross College were Dr. Senthilkumar, Chief Consultant Interventional Cardiologist, Rana Hospital,Trichy addressed the gathering and explained the students about Organ Donation.
Our students participated in YUVA LEADERSHIP CONCLAVE at Hallmark Business School, Trichy from 6th September 2019 to 8th September 2019 and received the best team award for being the “most impactful team”
Lathy Relay on September 2, 2019 to spread awareness about Gandhi and propagate his message of peace.
