The EDC of Holy Cross College was started in September 2004 to impart entrepreneurial skill training so as to enable our Students to become self- employable. Various Certificate Courses are offered by EDC like Arts and Handicrafts, Tailoring (Basic and Advanced), Flower making, Doll making, Embroidery, Beautician etc., Every year more than 350 Students are benefitted out of these courses. The Centre also facilitates the Departments in offering Skill Based Elective Courses as part of their Curriculum in Under Graduate Programmes.

   In July 2019, the Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI), Tamil Nadu along with Anna university, Trichy (HUB) has identified our College as one of the Spoke Colleges under a Comprehensive Program called Academic Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Program (AIEDP) via HUB and SPOKES model. The members of E-Cell have access to participate in Programmes conducted by EDII TN like Top Management Meet, FDP, MOOC Programme, Ideation, Tamil Nadu Student Innovators Challenge, E- Leader training, Growth Hackathon, Branding & Public Relation, Student Startup Showcase & Summit, Awareness Camp etc. This enables our Students to strengthen their entrepreneurial qualities and also to transform their innovative ideas into new products and services that better serves the society.
