    • The NAAC peer team visit for onsite assessment for IV cycle of Accreditation was held on 11 th & 12 th February 2020. Holy Cross College received A++ Grade with 3.75/4.

Activities



           HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT CENTRE [HRD ]Funded by the HCC Alumnae Association of the college has been functioning effectively, since its inception in 1992, as a supportive centre with two faculty members working full time. The HRD brings to light the hidden talents and potential of the students. It strives to recognize and enhance their skills and to equip them with a multifaceted outlook to meet the challenges of the competitive world. HRD also conducts training programs to equip the students with employability skills for better job opportunities. In addition to it also conducts classes on Driving, Keyboard & Guitar for the benefit of the students.


Objectives



  To Assist students in developing their academic and career interests, and to recognize their short and long-term goals through individual counseling and group sessions

  To Assist students developing and employing successful job search strategies.

  To Work with faculty members, department Heads and the administration to integrate career planning and academic curriculum.

  To promote career counseling by organizing guest speakers viz. senior corporate personnel and most importantly recently placed senior students.

  To Empower students with life-long career decision-making skills.

  To Develop the students communication skills and personality through seminars and classes.

  To Assist the students in acquiring placement in reputed companies.

  To create awareness among students regarding career options available to them in outlining their career objectives and serve as a bridge between students, alumni and employers.

  To Produce the most competitive techno craft to fit in all scenario..

  Help the students to Develop a Passion to win and to have a Global Mindset.

Campus Placement Cell organizes Campus Drive for the final years and for Alumnae



  Categorizing the students into three main Groups- Higher studies, Job Seekers and Entrepreneurs.

  Orientation Program and training will be Given based upon their choice.

  Scheduling the Campus Drive Based upon the Email Communication - Priority will be Given for Trichy based companies , Day shift jobs and Salary.

  Clearly Explains the Nature of Job and related information.

  Student Registration and Interview Process

  Follow up till the interview Process ends with Selection List and Placement.

  Job Lead and Assistance for the Alumnae and Part time Job for the Pursuing students were the main functions of this Cell.
